Implementation steps:
Install the software, including setup of network locations, paths, protocols, etc.
Setup software, including accounting and mileage connections, multi-company or multi profit-center setup, document output, invoice numbering configurations, information entry including customers, companies, locations, equipment, equipment lease types, employees, and a variety of other details.
Setup special functions such as rate tables for auto rating and driver settlements, configurations for auto-email notification or mobile communications, document imaging setup, fuel card or fuel tax connection setup. These may or may not be done prior to going live with basic functionality, but must be completed to achieve full functionality.
Pre-training, which may be either general training or focused training for project managers or key individuals, in preparation for the go-live. This may also involve testing and revising the implementation plan by working through any issues before going live.
Active training and coaching during the process of taking the software into live operation, following thorough preparation and pre-training of key individuals and project manager(s). The implementation plan must include the go-live plan, including the specifics of the training required at that time.
Profit Tools software is very intuitive and easy to learn so training generally involves a little "show" and a lot of "do". It primarily relies on a lot of coaching from one of our trainers. Smaller companies who need four or fewer individuals trained are usually well-suited to online training exclusively, while larger firms with more trainees will find a combination of online and on-site training/ go-live support to be most cost effective.
