Automatically assign pickups and deliveries by zone, then optimize the stops geographically. Especially useful in LTL, Distribution and Air Freight applications, Route Manager allows you to create pickup/deliver zones by city, state, zip code, zip code range, or specific company locations. Then, pickups and deliveries in each zone will be assigned to a specific vehicle and date, or to a placeholder (such as a dock door or zone ID) until the specific vehicle is known. If one zone is overloaded, dispatchers can easily move freight to other vehicles or other dates. 

Optimizer will automatically sequence the stops in the resulting vehicle itinerary to accomplish the most efficient route geographically, however, dispatchers can easily adjust stops to allow for appointments or other criteria. System will print loading manifests, delivery manifests, batch delivery receipts, driving directions etc. 

Profit Tools Dispatch will calculate drive times, and will factor pre-set stop times for each location into the schedule, to aid dispatchers in pre-planning. Optimization and calculation of stop to stop miles and drive times requires PC*Miler®. Route Manager requires Dispatch, and the number of Route Manager licenses required is determined by the total number of Dispatch licenses in place.
